Welcome Back P5/6!

P5/6 have been hard at work this week designing their own class crest and creating a fantastic collection of post cards which are full of information on all the super things they got up to during the holidays.

We have started to adjust to our new routines and have been discussing our school values of respect, responsibility and resilience. The pupils were then able to create a poster which explained the importance of a school value of their choice.

The class engaged really well with a mathematics activity in which pupils were using mathematical language discover the value of a hidden number by questioning their partner and as a class we have now began to discuss and develop our own class charter. During this activity pupils showed a good understanding of our school values by including them within their ideas for our classroom charter.

Pupils will be required to have their PE kit on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

All of P5/6 have made a positive start to the year and I look forward to all the experiences that are still to come. Hope you all have a fantastic weekend and I look forward to seeing everyone again on Monday.
