And just like that we find ourselves at the beginning of term 4!  We have taken this week to settle back into a good routine.  We are excited to be back with our friends.
Our new class novel is "Finding Bear" by Hannah Gold.  We really enjoyed "The Last Bear" by Hannah Gold, so we decided to read the sequel. We are excited to go on more adventures with April and Bear. This will also link with further outdoor learning activities, and a workshop on" Climate Change",  we will attend at Dynamic Earth next Wednesday.
We have all selected a mini topic to work on in term 4.  Homework tasks will be set around these topics, and we will work on our projects at school.  Well done to everyone for picking some interesting topics to explore. Please bring in any books, information or drawings that you have at home.
For maths we continue our work on Fractions, We specifically looked at adding and subtraction fractions with common denominators. Lots of good work were done by all the children.  We are also practising quicker recall of tables using  the "Hit the Button" online game.  Our current champion is Hannah.
We revisited the names of colours in Spanish by watching a video and completed work related to this.
For Outdoor Learning we looked at the body parts of a snail.  We completed a comprehension task and drew a labelled drawing of a snail.  We then went on a snail hunt outside.  They are fascinating creatures. We started work on our planter by doing some weeding. Well done to the four children who helped with this task on Wednesday. .
Our Social Target Winner of the Week is Grace. Grace has returned to school with a very positive mindset.
We wish everyone a wonderful weekend.
