This week we have enjoyed exploring angles to help us with our numeracy focus on directions. This included searching for angles around the school building, in the playground and becoming angles ourselves! Some children even used some of the natural resources outside to create each type of angle. We are becoming really confident in identifying and using the proper names of angles.
In writing, through listening to a rainforest clip and looking at a picture prompt we used of our senses to explore the rainforest. We used a range of adverbs, adjectives and wow words alongside our senses to really make our writing come alive! Most pupils posted a picture of their writing on to Seesaw, feel free to check this out!
We have also enjoyed learning more about the rainforest this week, specifically learning all about the interdependence of a food web! We look forward to learning about the impact of humans on the rainforest next week.
