Another busy week. It was lovely to catch up with some of you on Wednesday for the Parent/Teacher meetings. The technology held up in the main and it was great to meet you all. More to come this next Monday and Wednesday.
This week in Literacy we talked about the difference between a fact and an opinion, practised uplevelling our written work and continued with our reading books. In Numeracy we continued to work with giving change from various amounts.
We had our first indoor P.E. lesson and the children all enjoyed the 'less muddy' experience! Our project on Energy, Work and Forces continues to be popular with even more experiments to come in the following weeks.
We watched a great video all about the Hindu Festival of Diwali which, this year, takes place on Saturday. We designed our own Rangoli designs in Art which the children took home. They are amazing and extremely colourful.
We finished off the week on Thursday with a dress down day in aid of Children in Need. Thank you so much to all those who were able to support us. The children came to school in lots of different Pudsey and yellow outfits and I even managed to go home, stopping off at the shops on the way, with my Pudsey ears still on ! Those that turned up in their Brownie, Cub and Scout's uniforms looked especially smart for Remembrance Day.
Wishing you all a relaxing long weekend.
