Welcome back!
It was lovely to see all your children back at school looking so smart in their school unfiorms with all their exciting holiday stories.
This term P.E days will be Monday and Thursday, however it is helpful to have your child's P.E kit in school every day just incase of timetable changes. Reading and homework will be going out on Tuesdays to be returned on Monday.
'Wellie Wednesday' dates for this term are 30.10.19, 6.11.19, 13.11.19, 20.11.19, 27.11.19, 4.12.19.  This week P2a will be going to the woods with P2b staying in the school grounds. Please ensure your child is dressed in their outdoor clothing and have waterproof jackets, wellies and waterproof trousers if you have them. As we are approaching Winter, it may help to also ensure your child has a hat and gloves. If you are free to help, please come along to the Main Office on Wednesday at 1.20pm.
We have had a very enjoyable first week back re-telling the story of Little Red Riding Hood and practising our handwriting of all the curly letters c, o, a, d, g and q. Next week we are going to start practising the tall letters.
This week we read the story 'I Can't Do that yet' by Esther Pia Cordova and talked about how we can do anything, we just have to belief in ourselves and develop our confidence. We talked about the learning pit and how learning is a challenge and mistakes are part of learning.
Special thanks to everyone who has handed in the Aldi stickers. We are now on to chart four, which is amazing! We still have a few weeks left so please keep sending in your stickers.

Have a lovely weekend,
Natalie Elvin
