This week in Primary 2 we have been learning about measuring. We have been using scales to weigh different classroom items. We were comparing what was the heaviest or lightest. We were also measuring with the balance scales as to how many cubes each item weighed.
For our Project work, we have been looking at Japan and learning about the comics in Japan and making our own comic strip. We have been doing more origami and have made paper frogs. We watched a video about school in Japan and compared our school in Scotland with school in Japan. In Japan, the children have to clean the school and serve the school lunches!
Next week we are going to do a Welly Wednesday and are going to go down to the field with Pb to make dens and bug hotels. Please can your child bring waterproof clothing including jacket, wellies and trousers if you have them or if the weather is warm, please bring sunhats and put on your suncream before school.
Can I ask that everyone please make sure that you return all reading books and homework folders by Monday.
