P7a participated in a special Sports Relief PE session with P4 this week - lots of games including Mbabe Mbabe (ask the children about the Lion and the Zebra!)
Our writing focused on news articles about sporting events at our school. These are now on SEESAW to read.

Our Eco Elves have been busy making BEESWAX WRAPS which are now available for sale - there is also an advert to view on SEESAW. Our food technology/ science sessions will shift away from cookery and focus on plant growth and our sustainability aspects of our John Muir Award.  We hope to go out and shape the Willow in the school grounds next week - any 'green fingered' parent volunteers available to help with this - please contact the school office.

Pupils also have a mini saga competition sheet from the Young Writers - 100 words to Get Ridiculous ! Please work with your pupil to plan and write a ridiculous story.  The emphasis is on using 'ly' opener words, ambitious vocabulary and to keep it under 100 words ! good luck!

An exhausting Sports Relief week with a dress down Friday. Pupils are reminded that Monday we are beginning a series of ball skills lessons in our PE slot.  Pupils are welcome to come to school dressed in gym kit if they wish (remember school clothes to change into after)

Have a lovely weekend.
