We have had such a lovely week back! The sun has been shining and there has been such a buzz about Canmore.

We have been focusing on the aspect of ‘hope’ in our Writing and Health and Wellbeing lessons. We have been reading stories from ‘The Book of Hopes’ and working in groups to carry out discussions about each story. In pairs, children have started a collage of quotes, messages, pictures and symbols which they believe represents ‘hope’.

In maths, we have continued to work on our Measurement topic, focusing on calculating area, perimeter and capacity.

In Spanish, we have continued to work on food and drink vocabulary and will be designing our own restaurant menus next week.

We have had a wonderful Red Nose Day today, with lots of fun games and activities.

It’s been such a pleasure to be back in school and see the smiling faces of all the children. I hope you’ve enjoyed a week free of home-learning :D

Have a great weekend, Mrs Forrest.
