Welcome December! We have had a wonderful, Christmassy week this week. Our class elf, Jingalina, has been getting up to all sorts! Keep an eye on Seesaw to see what she has been up to. We also put our class decorations up and they are looking fabulous! And being the wonderful and thoughtful P7 that they are, the children wanted to do a Secret Santa this year. Each child has their person. The budget is £2 or a homemade gift, and gifts have to be in by Friday 18th.

In social studies, we started our enterprise project. Unfortunately children will not be selling products this year, but that won’t stop them making them! Each child is taking on the role of an entrepreneur and will be creating their own Christmas company. They will then design a card, calendar and decoration/ornament for their company. We started on the cards this week and they are looking amazing! We will upload progress to Seesaw.

In Literacy, we have read more of War Horse and children have been working on providing evidence to back up their views and opinions.

In Numeracy, we have been working on word problems involving multiplication and division and will move into our money topic next week. This will link in with our Enterprise.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, Mrs Forrest :)
