End of term has arrived far too fast! and our pupils have returned with such great happiness and hope - lighting up the classroom with their laughter and love for learning. Spring time brings with it the blossom and bloom and I feel this is truly reflected in the P67 classroom.

Who could imagine how much we could pack into this final week! Please ask your child about their progress with calculating perimeter, area using the formula L x B and Volume using L x B x H.  We have looked at composite shapes and of course applied our learning with visuals (using boxes of Easter Eggs! ) a massive thank you to Tesco Duloch for helping with this and even delivering the surprise before 8am yesterday!

In our reading we have read up to Chapter 8 in Goodnight Mr Tom and pupils will continue this in Term 4.  In Science we have researched the use of plants and begun our own Sunflower seedlings which will be planted in the school garden to shine for all to enjoy in Term 4.

In our writing our pupils have completed lots of research on conflict and will use the first weeks back to write reports, fact files and leaflets. Rehearsals for Joseph are well underway and the scripts are away to the printshop ( access this on SEESAW in the meantime).

Our yearbook committee have been appointed. Well done to Grace, Maya, Neve and Delia who will help co-ordinate the pages - everyone who applied will also be given time to work on the yearbook.well done to everyone who took time to apply.

Congratulations to Alfie Meach & Megan Cant our social target winners this week.

Your child is home today with a printed A5 card which I hope you can find a place to display - bright rainbows in the sunshine after the storm - professionally printed as a wee keepsake of Canmore Primary Term 3. Such a happy and resilient class - I am so proud and privileged to be their teacher at this incredible time in their lives! Summer term 4 will be with us soon and I am truly excited about the planned learning and experiences we will have ready for the P6s and P7s.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to all the individuals involved with the pupils, school community and family and friends who have all helped ensure the learning continues (and the laughter too).I hope you can enjoy the spring fortnight and look forward to Term 4.

It will be their best term yet!
See you all soon
