Hello from primary 5
This week in writing we have been writing some persuasive letters complaining about a delivery. We all got to write a letter to Flying Tiger because Mrs Haddow ordered 3 packets of small bells but she only got 1. Mrs Haddow is going to photocopy some and send it to the company, because we really need these bells for our Eco Elves production team.
In PE we have been practising our atheletics skills for a primary school atletics competition.We have been developing our skills in jumping, running and hurdling.
In maths we have been continuing to practise our strategies for addition and this week we have been learning chinmey or tower sums.
In science we began to learn about electricity and we were investigating how to make electrical circuits using tin foil, a battery and a bulb.
This morning we had lots of fun practising using our skills of co-operation and team work. We took part in the cup stacking challenge, and as you can see in the pictures, it was great fun.
