Good afternoon everyone,
I cannot believe that we have reached the final week of term. The children have continued to work hard and have demonstrated a good attitude towards their work.
We have completed our focus on multiplication in maths. All children have made progress with this. Some are confident about working out their tables mentally, while others are making good use of the strategies and materials they have learned to use to support them with understanding their tables. We will now start the new term with a focus on division.
On Wednesday, the children completed their house challenge. Each group worked together to make a collage poster for their house. Everyone worked very hard. Mrs Baxter was in the class during the challenge and she noted that Aaron, Kyle and Jack worked particularly well as a group.
The children used their super hero characters they made last week and wrote an adventure story for them. As always, I enjoyed reading the creative adventures.
In Art, the children made cards for Easter. They made a super job of designing patterns for the egg and using bright colours to decorate.
We had a fun day today as the children got to create an Easter basket and then filled it with their very own chocolate egg to take home. This is a small treat from Mrs Greig and myself to show that we appreciate how hard the boys and girls have worked this term under difficult circumstances. We are both very proud of them all.
I hope the boys and girls have a super and well deserved holiday. We look forward to seeing them refreshed and ready to learn lots of new things after the Easter break.

Kind regards,
Mrs Thomson and Mrs Greig.
