In numeracy we have been gathering and interpreting data by using tally marks and then creating bar graphs from the information collected. We have consolidated our skills using games in ICT. We also looked at the RSPB site and were able to listen to the songs of British birds as well as explore the main features of the birds.
Our RME lesson looked at the story of Moses and his journey through the wilderness.
The children are creating pictures of the main local birds by using step by step instructions.
The children enjoyed the Judo taster session with a few of them already keen to join the classes.
The children produced great ideas for their mixed up fairy tales stories in our Big Writing.
Mr McFadden showed the children 'how to catch a rainbow' in science and investigated the patterns mushroom seeds make on paper.
Our art this week is making spiders from crepe paper and pipe cleaners which will be added to our class wall display.
Our play is at the early stages as yet but will be ready for the show on April 1st.
It's good to see the weather is a bit better with some sunshine at times so I hope it keeps up for you at the weekend.
