Good afternoon everybody
The weeks are going by so quickly, I can't believe we only have seven teaching days left till the holidays!
Our phonics this week was the letter o with the magic 'e'.
The children have been revising numbers to 50 or 100 and beyond and looking at the symmetrical patterns we can see at Christmas-time (snowflakes, snowmen, Christmas trees etc)
We have looked at needs and wants this week and had good discussions on which goes into which category.
Our Big Writing has been used to complete their absolutely beautiful Christmas cards using the quilling technique. I am very impressed with their results.
The children have worked on our 2021 calendars which I am sure you will really like when they take them home.
We have also worked on a surprise that will be shared with you before the holidays!!
Our Christmas fun day is Friday the 18th of December and the children are invited to come to school in their party clothes.
It was so nice to see children wearing their fancy jumpers etc for Christmas Jumper day, I really feel ready for Christmas now.
