Good Afternoon 

This week in maths we have been learning to read and record o'clock times using ananlogue and digital clocks. Today your child has taken home an analogue clock with moveable hands to keep and further practise their learning with you at home. 

To support reading and writing, we have been exploring syllables.  We learned the strategy of placing a flat hand under the chin to feel the syllables as a word is spoken. 

In IDL we have become aware that people in the past lived differently and we used digital literacy to compare pictures of nowadays objects, such as, washing machine and iron, with those of the past.
