Good Afternoon,
This week the children were really excited to receive Homework in their Homework bags and have enjoyed telling each other about the games they have been playing with you. The matching pairs games seem to be the most popular amongst the children.
You may have heard the sad news this week of Rudy the bears' trip to the hospital after he fell off his bike. Thankfully the doctors and nurses examined his leg and confirmed no broken bones were shown on his x-ray. This sparked wonderful discussions about times when the children have had to visit the doctors or the hospital and gave us a great opportunity to learn more about the role of the nurses and doctors in our community.
On Tuesday the 17th September we are looking forward to learning all about the job of a pilot, when we welcome Emily's Dad 'Captain Lyall' into the class.
