P1 a weekly update

 We began our week with a delivery of a special basket which was full of clues to the popular fairy tale we would be working with this week, Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We started by reading the e-book on our smartboard and then learned how to choose words to complete sentences based on the Goldilocks story.  In the afternoon, we undertook a `STEAM' challenge - to create a new chair for baby bear to sit on. We had fun working collaboratively with a partner from P1b to plan and make the new chairs. Through drama on Wednesday, we acted out the story and then re-told the story in written form on Thursday.
