Weren't we so lucky with the holiday weekend weather ? I hope everyone had a relaxing long weekend. This week on Tuesday afternoon we participated in a virtual guided tour about Romans, conducted by the National Museum of Scotland. It was very enjoyable and we learned some new and interesting facts. On Wednesday, our class went to the nearby woods for an outdoor adventure involving den building. We made some great designs and showed off our team buliding skills as well. Photos have been posted on Seesaw for you to enjoy. In Literacy, we completed a reading comprehension on Safety in the Sun and continued to use a variety of activities to practise our spelling keywords. In Numeracy, we practised working on word problems for multiplication and division. We spent our Outdoor Learning this week comparing the playground to our earlier visit in the term. Moving on from Spring, we were now looking for evidence that summer had arrived.  We're also nearly ready to start filming our short Roman scripts, so look out for them soon. Next Wednesday ( 16th of June ) the P4,P4/5 and P5 classes are participating in a fun day organised by the Active Schools Coordinators so all children will need to come to school in gym gear, thanks. Have a lovely weekend.
