Well, we've made it to the end of Term One. It's been a very busy week. In numeracy we have been looking at division which can be a little tricky to get the hang of initially, but I've told the children that we will be continuing with it after the holidays. In literacy we have been focusing on adverbs and have enjoyed coming up with lots of great descriptive phrases. For our RME topic 'Friendship' we discussed how we could help children with specific problem scenarios and the children came up with lots of great ideas and suggestions, showing a very  kind and mature approach. Our Dunfermline topic has now come to a close and this week we designed a shield that best represented what Dunfermline meant to us as individuals. Thursday's McMillan fun day was a great and extremely popular event. The P7s did a marvellous job of providing the classes with safe and fun activities to participate in and we look forward to finding out the total amount raised. It just remains for me to wish you all a safe and enjoyable holiday, whatever you may be doing.
