P7 Weekly Update

Another busy week for P7. A huge congratulations to Mckenzie and Hannah; our Head Boy and Head Girl. We are all so proud of them and know they will do a fantastic job! More information about applying to become a House Captain will follow next week. In Writing, we continued our creative writing with creating a new character for a story. Some wonderful ideas! These will be posted on Seesaw on Monday. In Numeracy, we have continued working on Place Value, moving onto multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1,000. The children have shown great progress throughout this topic so far. We have read a few more chapters of Millions, our class novel, and some excellent discussion has come from this. We have focused on exploring the characters thoughts and feelings. In Science, we have been learning about physical and chemical changes. The children carried out a successful experiment, demonstrating both changes. A reminder that we have personal reading time on a Friday afternoon, so children are welcome to bring in a book from home that they would like to read during this time.
