Term 2 Done!

As is the tradition at the end of the year, P6 have been looking back over the last two terms as well as looking forward to the start of the next decade!

The class used their Seesaw journals as a brilliant way to review just how far we have come in our learning and what a wide range of learning experiences we have had over the last few months. Most of the class have between 120 to 160 items in their individual folders. Please take a few moments, along with your child, to check back their work over the last two terms. It was a lovely way to remember – and it was surprising too just how many things they forgot about.

Reading their end-of-term reviews, I was a very happy teacher to see that so many of the class now really love doing maths! The use of technology has really engaged the children in their learning and we are all looking forward to using more next year.

On the theme of technology, at the beginning of the week we were experimenting with the use of Augmented Reality to bring 2D images to animated life. The children were thrilled with this and full of ideas of how this could be used out in the world.

It has been a wonderfully busy year, however, I can see that many of the class are now in need of their Christmas holiday and some time to have fun and recharge. I hope that you all have a fantastic time at Christmas and that everyone returns safe, rested and raring to go for Term 3 in January.

Happy holidays everyone!
