Our Reconnector today focused on Remembrance Sunday and Children in Need next week. We looked at what Remembrance was, why we wear poppies and why it is important to remember those who fought in the wars. Our Head Boy & Head Girl shared some poetry with us about remembering those who are no longer with us.
We also looked at Children in Need which we will be celebrating next week on Thursday 12th November as we are not in school on the Friday which is actually Children in Need day. All pupils are invited to dress down (or dress spotty Like Pudsey!) and bring a donation if they wish on Thursday.
Our Social Target this week was 'I can make sensible and safe choices'. Well done to Tyler Raikes, James White and Calum McCreadie who were recognised for showing this.
