Christmas excitement has reached new levels in primary 3! The class worked so hard on their maths, reading and art this week that Bushy Evergreen the mischevious elf appeared on Friday morning! The cheeky elf was sitting on the smartboard when the class arrived in the morning!

The class have produced lovely christmas cards during art time this week. They had to use a few techniques to get the finished results including painting, using pastels to smudge and carefully gluing decorations. The cards are all their own work and I am sure you will agree when you see them that the children have done a super job.

The class party today was fantastic. The children had a ball. They started of the party with a ceildh dance. Prizes were won during pass the parcel, Santa Santa Reindeer, corners, the balloon game and the dancing competition. This was all finished of with party food. Hopefully everyone will sleep well tonight.

We have also been busy rehearsing the songs for the christmas nativity as we want to raise the roof during the performances next week.

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend as we move into the last week before the holidays. How did that happen so quickly?

Kind regards, Mrs Thomson
