What a jam packed term Primary 4/5 have enjoyed. We have been really working hard across the whole curriculum and we are now ready for our Easter holidays!

One of the main highlights this term has been our topic Titanic. We have become experts on this historical event and would love to share our information and facts with you so don’t be afraid to ask us at home about our learning! Our diary reports, newspapers and log books in literacy have also focused around this area of learning. We have also explored buoyancy with floating and sinking investigations. The orange experiment was one of our favourites-ask me the secret about how to make an orange sink and float!
Another highlight has been discovering the special places around our community. Learning about the role of a mosque and a church as religious buildings in the community. Our trip to local places of worship really made our learning come alive!

We have looked at time, multiplication and division this term and continual practice of our times tables will help us as we look into Term 4. We have had lots of help from Miss Murdoch and Amber to help us this term as well.

As we look forward to the holidays, please remember to check for any reading books at home to ensure we can all be on the same book/page when we return. Please ensure all gyms bags are washed and returned for another busy term.

Have a wonderful break,

Miss Graham
