What a jam packed term that has been! Primary 4/5 are growing every week into confident individuals who have shown Miss Graham that if they put their mind to it they can ALL  showcase that they are successful learners, responsible citizens and effective contributors!

This week we have enjoyed looking at different festive traditions around the world and discovering that Christmas traditions are not the same for everyone. We also enjoyed baking some German traditional cookies as part of this learning. Some of the children enjoyed eating these cinnamon treats straight out of the oven. While some children decided to share this German tradition with those at home.

We have also finished off our novel by C.S. Lewis and looked at the inspiration behind the popular Narnia series. Miss Graham enjoyed sharing some facts about local Irish landscapes that C.S. Lewis also enjoyed as a boy!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who sent in a small gift or card over the past few weeks. I would like to extend my warm wishes to everyone over the festive period and look forward to seeing everyone again in 2020!
