Last Friday we had great fun with our Science lesson where we were exploring which solids dissolved in liquid.
The children have been learning how to make posters on Publisher and are at the early stages of saving into a school folder.
We are continuing to look at different number facts in addition and subtraction and have made a very good attempt at an Acrostic poem.
Katie Morag has been busy and has sent us a second letter. We enjoyed learning about the two Grandmothers and Alecena the prize sheep.
Children in Need is next Thursday and the children are very busy making posters, bunting to decorate the hall and have made lovely Pudsey ears on headbands for them to wear on the day.
We will be very busy next week making the spotty biscuits, spotty marshmallows and Pudsey gingerbread biscuits in preparation for running the Big Move in the hall for all the classes.
Thank you so much for all the support you have given in collecting the Aldi Kits for Schools stickers. We have managed to complete 5 charts which is really amazing. This guarentees us 5 sports kits for us to use in school. Please keep fingers crossed for us to be one of the 20 schools throughout the UK that will win the £20,000 for outdoor equipment.
Wellie Wednesday (the 13th) will be used to plant daffodil bulbs for the Inverflora Daffodil Competition. We will be outside so please come dressed in outdoor warm clothing and have wellie boots to change into. If you are available to help, please come along at 1.20 pm.
Have a lovely weekend.
