What a fantastic trip to Dynamic Earth!
All the pupils had a wonderful learning experience. The interactive climate change workshop was very hands on and full of interesting facts about our world. The pupils loved the immersive experience of the planetarium and the museum. Thank you to our parent helpers who came with us on our trip.

For maths we have been learning to change tenths and hundredths into decimals. We have also been consolidating our knowledge of equivalent factions and factions of amounts. We have also been learning how to interpret line graphs this week.

For literacy we continued our learning on direct speech by practicing adding the correct punctuation to sentences. We have been also trying hard to improve our presentation skills by learning our handwriting joins.

For Project, we were learning about the Old and New Town of Edinburgh. The children then located key buildings and hills on different maps.

Just a reminder that we will have outdoor learning and PE on Wednesday so please remember your change of shoes. As the weather gets sunny, please remember sun hats and put on sun cream before you come to school.

Thank you for your support,
Mrs Elvin, Mrs Forrest & P6
