Today we celebrated World Book Day and we started our P1-3 assembly with a story read by Sofia Breeze. The children also had to use their knowledge of stories to guess the book from clues given on the screen.
We finished our assembly with one of Mrs McIntosh's favourite stories, 'The Gruffalo'. Everyone was given their £1 WBD token to spend on a book and we saw that there are some special books for WBD which only cost £1 so we will get these free!
Well done to our Social Target achievers this week, our target was 'I can line up quietly, safely and on time.' We also celebrated achievements out of school with Ava, Murray and Sadie.
Next week our Social Target is 'I can work with others and show good teamwork'. This will be in line with Sport Relief week.
