Welcome to P6A. Our class has 33 learners. We have lots of exciting things to look forward to this term!
During money week we will be talking about business and entrepreneurship, profit and different methods of paying for things. As part of UK Parliament week, we will be looking at how people across the UK participated in the fight for votes for women. We will be learning about democracy and voting systems in the Scottish and UK Parliaments and also in other countries. We will be working on developing our division skills and improving our number skills. We have been looking at different reading genres and improving our reading and writing skills.
In Science we are looking at renewable energy, how society can live in a more energy efficient way and developing scientific skills and language. We are making good use of our playground as a classroom and regulary carry out outdoor learning. Resilience will be a big theme in health and wellbeing this term as we start our Bounce Back programme. In RME we are learning more about Buddhism. We are enjoying learning French and developing our knowledge of Spanish.
