Welcome back P5

I hope you all had a lovely summer holiday. The children have been sharing some of their holiday adventures, and it sounds like they had a wonderful time - most of them saying that they enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
The children have all returned to school enthusiastic, and looking very smart in their school uniforms. For your information, our PE days this term will be a Tuesday and a Thursday. I was delighted to see that everyone had their PE kit with them. Well done to them all for being so responsible, and to you for supporting them in this. Just a little reminder that our indoor PE kit should be shorts, not leggings or track suit bottoms, and your support in this would also be appreciated. Our music this term is on a Thursday so I would ask that all children bring their recorders to school on Thursdays in order that they can fully participate in their music lessons.
It has been a calm and settled return to school for Primary 5 and I am delighted with their enthusiasm and readiness to learn. We are all excited about the new challenges and new experiences ahead of us and looking forward to a wonderful year!
