What a fantastic first week back we have enjoyed in Primary4/5.
Everyone has been super excited to catch up with their friends and we have been enjoying the sunny weather as well as we have completed our mental maths and gym times outside.

We have been focusing on superheros this week and this culminated in our Supertato red nose day challenge on Friday. This involved us using our numeracy and literacy skills to help Supertato solve the mystery! We have also thought about how mood monsters make us feel and we will continue to look at how to deal with mood monsters next week.

In numeracy, we have continued to focus on time and I would encourage everyone to continue this at home. Some pupils have moved onto 24/12 hour clocks and have had success in this area. In mental maths we have also finished up looking at our times tables knowledge from our home learning booklets.

On Wednesday we wrote limericks to celebrate Saint Patricks day! The boys and girls really enjoyed these silly poems and sharing them with each other. I hope you enjoyed reading the limerick that was sent home on Wednesday on the shamrock template. The picture shows some of the good examples of our limericks.

Just one more week and then it's the Easter holidays, lots of learning and fun to squeeze into next week.

Have a great weekend,
Miss Graham
