Welcome to December! We have been getting ready for the C word behind the scenes this week as we look forward to our Christmas Fayre NEXT FRIDAY!
What a busy bunch we have been. A BIG THANK YOU to Mrs Leopard who has kindly given up her time to help us over the past two weeks as we have been covering the classroom in paint, hot chocolate, melted chocolate and sprinkles (all to the cleaners delight).

On Seesaw we will be posting our advertisement for our items being sold. We have each made a hot chocolate reindeer and a reindeer pom pom. These will be available from our stall with a homemade gift bag designed by your child. The class have also been looking at Fairtrade and chocolate and will be doing a joint stall with the P4 class. We have collectively made chocolate lollies to sell from Fairtrade chocolate. Please have a look at both stalls for all of our lovely goodies.
*If anyone has a little Christmas tree we could borrow for decorating our stall please bring this in before Wednesday next week.
As well as keeping busy with our enterprise efforts we have enjoyed our new post office area in the classroom during discovery time.

In numeracy, we have focused on the numberline strategy for addition this week. We have slowly grown in confidence with some pupils now using this for bigger numbers. In literacy, we have continued to use our outdoor learning for our writing. This week we have continued to focus on changing our connectives in our sentences to join our sentences together.

In HWB, we have looked at needs and wants linked to our Rights Respecting School link and also focused in on the importance of Fairtrade for producers. We have looked for Fairtrade items in our lunchboxes as well as any recycled materials we have in class. Keep looking and posting any Fairtrade products you spot at home!

Have a great weekend,
Miss Graham
