What a fantastic week we have had in Primary 4/5!
Lots of super learning happening inside and outside the classroom with the children showing a great enthusiasm for learning!

As our focus was on compass points and directions, we enjoyed getting outside in the sunshine to play lots of active games to do with direction. We had fun drawing chalk compass points and some children were even learning about compass degree points! Please ask me at home about the fun games we have been playing and even ask me to give you some directions with my new vocabulary!

In writing, we have continued looking at imaginative story writing and have really worked hard at using adverbs to describe the how, when and where of verbs. Continued focus and effort will ensure all pupils transfer this understanding into their big writing session. Keep up the hard work!

We have also enjoyed looking at striking and fielding skills with Mrs Hay in gym and had a go playing Danish Longball with Miss Graham to apply this understanding into a small game context.

Today, we enjoyed dressing down for Jeans for Genes day and I am sure you agree we were all looking fabulous in denium!

Have a great weekend,
Miss Graham
