Thank you so much for your support at last week's Christmas Fayre. It was great to see so many of you there supporting the P2's stall. We raised a great total of £215.11.
We are still hard at work working on our money skills and are presently looking at combinations of coins to make different amounts.
In Literacy, we have written a letter to Santa thanking him for the borrowed elf which the children have named Bongle. He is getting up to all sorts of pranks by hiding things around the area!
We used our PE slot on Monday to go outside and play games from the past. They used chalk to draw hopscotch and had a go at skipping individually and some attempted group skipping.
It was very sad that due to the weather we couldn't go on our walk to St Leonards Church but we were very fortunate that the church came to us. A very big thank you to Mrs Leppard who took charge of the making of the Christingles and explained the symbolism of the different items used in the making of them. Thank you so much to the parents who were able to stay to help.
I had a lovely time at Wednesday's Christmas lunch. It was really nice to share the experience with the children.
I can't believe that there is only one more week to go until the Christmas holidays. P2's party is on Monday the 16th in the afternoon. The Children can bring in their party clothes and change after lunch or can go home at 12.35pm returning for 1.20pm.
Have a lovely weekend.
