Weekly Update from P4

What a busy return to Term 3!  In Numeracy this week, we have been learning about Fractions and Data Handling, looking at the Mean, Median and Mode.
In Literacy, we have been looking at pronouns, creating word searches and reviewing our spelling.
Through Literacy and our project on Romans, we have been writing a character description of 'Severus' (ask your child if your Roman history is a bit vague!) and have been finding out about Boudicca and the Roman Army using our I.T skills.
We have been learning team games in P.E and ensuring we get out for our Daily Mile (when weather allows). 
We are enjoying our class novel of 'Charlotte's Web' and have been busy with work tasks related to this and our own reading group tasks.
We continue to support the P1-3 Assembly with our P4 Leadership Team and award House Points to children in the assembly who are showing the Canmore Values.
Fingers crossed the weather behaves this weekend and dare we hope - a win for Scotland?
