Following on from our visitor from Scottish Parliament last week, this week we have been doing lots of work regarding our topic of The Scottish Parliament. We have been learning about democracy, summarised manifestos from the five main political parties in Scotland, created a PowerPoint about these parties in ICT, and even created our own comic books! Please have a look on Seesaw to see some of our fab work if you haven’t seen these already.
We have also been learning about flowers as part of our John Muir Award. On Wednesday, we took part in a fun lesson where we were able to dissect different flowers to label them. Then, using the spare parts, we created some ‘flower monsters’ – check these out on Seesaw as well.
We also said goodbye to Mrs Baxter this week with a special celebration assembly on Thursday, where we were able to say thank-you to her for all she has done for us.
