This week has been very busy for us in P6B!

Beginning with our double cricket lesson on Tuesday morning, we had lots of fun practising batting, fielding and bowling. This was a great way to start our week, made even better by the sun shining! We also had a visitor from Scottish Parliament on Tuesday afternoon, as we introduced our new topic on the Scottish Parliament. We engaged in games and discussions about how the Scottish Parliament works, and how it affects our daily lives. We found this really interesting and it was a great opportunity for us to have this visit as we start our new topic, and encourage some curiosity about what we are going to be learning over this term. We also engaged in a virtual event by Smoke Factor on Thursday afternoon, encouraging a smoke free generation. This was really engaging even though the event was online and we were able to get involved by answering the questions through the chat box.

Finally, we spent our Friday morning at the woods for our Outdoor Learning session, where we took part in a bug hunt and litter picking. This linked to previous learning during the week as we discussed ways in which we can be more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Have a great weekend!
