What a fantastic week we have enjoyed in Primary 6b! Our highlight of the week was definitely our MACMILLAN BIG BREAKFAST! We want to thank everyone who donated an item for our breakfast. A special shout out to Tesco and Costa for donating food products towards this event. We could not have pulled off the event without the support of our Canmore staff, Alex Bird from Active Schools and of course our very own Primary 6 pupils. I am very proud of their efforts this week. Each pupil completed their role to the best of their ability showing responsibility, one of our school values and raised money for this worthy cause. I am looking forward to reporting back how much we will be able to send to Macmillan very soon once the final calculations have taken place.

This week we also enjoyed getting to deepen our understanding and knowledge of Grey Frair's Bobby through reading and creating notes on this famous dog. We loved the film associated with this and created detailed notes using the information we gathered. We have now started our interactive Edinburgh map and we look forward to sharing this with you all next week.

Finally, it was lovely to meet so many of you over the past few weeks at our parent's evenings. I am confident that Primary 6b will flourish this year with continued hard work and effort at home and at school.

Have a relaxing weekend,
Miss Graham
