Good afternoon, what a very quick week that was! Three pupil days to jam pack full. This week Primary 4/5 were very sad to see Mrs Westwood leave Canmore Primary School. Mrs Westwood has been an enormous asset to this Primary 4/5 class and she has helped us with many challenges and activities throughout the year. We will all miss her in our classroom and wish her well as she embarks on a new adventure and starts another job soon! What a privilege it has been to have her work to work alongside over the past year and I know the pupils have enjoyed having her continuity throughout the years.

On Seesaw you will also see that we have been working hard in literacy with our new class novel. We have spent some time looking at character development in the novel and comparing different stories and characters that are familiar to us. We have also been looking at WAGOLL for instruction writing as we concentrate on this style of writing in the next few weeks.

As always we had a superb time on Friday during our Field Good Friday activity. Our orienteering skills are slowly improving and our teamwork skills have also seen huge improvements. We look forward to planning and setting out a course for the Primary 4 and  Primary 5 pupils next week.

Have a great weekend,
Miss Graham
