What a delight to talk to lots of you this week during the parent's evenings. Most of the appointments happened without a technological glitch and I thank you for your patience when problems did arise. As mentioned Seesaw will continue to remain a little slower than usual at the moment until the return of the iPads.

This week we have enjoyed having Ms Stewart teach us about fact and opinion in our literacy lessons as we focused on non fiction texts and began to explore opinion writing. Ask me at home why OREO is important for adding opinions. Lots of the children would prefer the OREO over a digestive to Miss Graham's horror!

In numeracy, we have continued to focus on our addition strategies and Mrs Howie was super impressed with our confidence when she paid our class a visit on Thursday.

We have also started looking at a new class novel by C.S. Lewis, 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. We are looking forward to reading this and completing activities around it in class.

We have also enjoyed wearing our odd socks today as we discussed anti-bullying week at our reconnector.

Have a lovely weekend,
Miss Graham
