Good afternoon,
What another super busy week we have enjoyed in Primary 3/4. With the weather being lovely and warm this week we had the opportunity to take some of our lessons outside. Including numeracy, health and wellbeing and gym. We have been continuing to look at place value in numeracy. This has allowed some pupils to revise, tens and ones and most pupils were looking at hundreds, tens and ones. Some of our P4 pupils were even looking at numbers in the thousands.

This week we have started the homework grid on Seesaw. Each week pupils will complete one task from the grid posted on Seesaw. The activities on the grid are from all aspects of the curriculum. This covers our topic Dunfermline as well as Health and Wellbeing and The Arts. Please select one task to complete per week and post your work on Seesaw for Miss Graham to see. This can be a picture of your written work, a video or a photograph of you completing the task. You will also see that I have posted a spelling grid which has a selection of activities. Pupils will complete one of these activities each week with their spelling words which are also posted on Seesaw. The spelling words are under the activity tab on the app. We also send weekly reading home to complete and this folder will go home after your child has read in class. This will on Wednesday or before. Please read ONLY the pages marked in the reading booklet so that your child can keep to the same part of the story as their group. Please feel free to read other stories and books at home with your child as this will widen their vocabulary and grow their confidence reading.
Kind regards,
Miss Graham
