This week we have appointed different leadership positions within our class. All the pupils who decided to go forward for a role and present to the class were fabulous, making it tricky for us to decide on the different posts. The class voted for Emily Hands to be on the Eco Committee and we wish Emily all the best as she joins the whole school team in keeping our school Eco friendly!

The class also appointed Euan Stephen as our Road Safety Officer and Callum Sorial as our Pupil Council representative. The boys have the important role now of representing our class views on these matters and contributing to whole school changes in these areas.

In class we have enjoyed welcoming another friendly face to our class, welcome Weronika!  As well as spending some time considering the importance of inclusion within Health and Wellbeing. We have also started exploring different emotions and how they might arise and be solved in  classroom and playground situations.

The class are also really working hard on their understanding of the value of a digit and have also had the opportunity to develop their problem solving and logic skills.

In Literacy, we have also explored characterisation. As Friday was Roald Dahl day we then applied our understanding to produce a writing piece on a well loved Roald Dahl character.

And we will leave you with a well loved quote of his to ponder over the weekend...

"Inside all of us is the power to change the world!" Roald Dahl

Happy weekend,
Miss Graham
