Our weeks are really going in so quickly!

Our focus this week in literacy has been on story writing and many of the class have come to me to tell me just how proud they are of their story writing this week. It is lovely to see such enthusiasm.

Numeracy has continued with assessment work, however, we have also been trying to improve our recall of times-tables.

We have been singing a lot in class almost always in Spanish. I have included the songs we have been learning on our class blog and a ‘must see’ is the short video clip of ‘Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’ in Spanish!

A break in the weather on Wednesday gave us just enough time to get outside to take some more photographs, this time on the theme of ‘Leading Lines’. Once back in class we looked at how best to edit our work using our Digital Literacy skills. We have quite a few creative pupils in class – I’m very impressed.

On Thursday, our class voted for their class reps with many pupils putting themselves forward for consideration. They gave excellent speeches to class. Congratulations to Mackenzie who was chosen to be our Sports Team representative, Layla who was chosen to be our Class representative and Lauren who will represent the class on the school Eco-committee. Well done to everyone who put themselves forward for these positions – the voting was very, very close with only one or two points separating the winner and runner-up.

Please remember to visit our class blog where you can see more of what we have been doing, especially our photography.  The link is below.

Have a great weekend!
