I hope you all had a lovely holiday on Monday.
First I would like to congratulate our orienteers, who were a credit to the school and did extremely well in the event at the Glen. Also a big thank you to the parents who came to help out on the day.
Although this is a short week, it has been a busy one. We have been continuing with our project on My Blue Planet by investigating the water cycle. We are observing our water cycles in a bag which are displaying the stages of the water cycle very clearly. We have also been investigating how to clean dirty water through filtration.
In PE, we have started a new block on fitness and we are aiming to develop our stamina, fitness, agility and strength through taking part in fitness circuits. A reminder that PE kit should be in school on Mondays and Wednesdays this term.
In Numeracy, we have been learning to recognise and measure angles. Measuring angles is quite a tricky skill so if anyone has protractors at home then extra practise would not go amiss.
A reminder that on Monday next week, class photographs will be taken and that on Wednesday, we have our Canmore Art Exhibition.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Haddow
