This week the children were really excited to receive their second letter from Flat Stanley. He sent them his adventure story about Australia and has asked them to find out about this country. So far we have researched an Australian animal and found out about famous landmarks.
We have sent a research task home with the children. They have to research a European country of their choice and share the information as a poster or talk. We look forward to hearing lots of new facts about different countries. The children have two weeks to complete this task and it will be due in the week beginning the 13th of May.
In Writing next week, the children will either retell an aboriginal dream time story or will make up their own one.
We will moving onto the 5 and 10 times table next week in Maths.
Please can you ensure that your child has full gym kit with them on a Monday and Wednesday so that they can take part in gym activities safely.
