P7a just keeps getting better and better by Matthew and Erin this week creating our news update as follow:

First, the Night Zoo Keeper workshop at Edinburgh Zoo was an unforgettable experience where our class helped design new characters for the Sky Kids series.  Then, a walk round the zoo to see all the animals.

WW2 topic is coming to an end and the whole class celebrated making some really easy tiffen but it was SO delicious!

Maths: Everyone was using bus and train timetables to calculate and plan journeys, some of us are already using the DST formula and its been interesting, helpful and a bit challenging.

Writing our autobiographies has begun and links to our Yearbook.

Gym has been really exhausting and our kits are really smelly so they are home for washing as next week it will be Easter Service and gym will not be on.

We have almost finished reading our class novel and will finish the term with a viewing in class of The Boy in Striped Pyjamas - please contact the school if you do not wish your child to view this as it is a 12A.

With the end of term in sight we are looking forward to finishing off.

Enjoy the weekend P7a
