There was a lot of excitement in p2/3 this week as a visitor arrived through the post. Flat Stanley has come to visit us. He has asked the class to help him find out more about Scotland and some other countries he would like to visit around the world. The children have already produced leaflets about Scotland and will be researching information about Australia next week.
This term the children will be learing about multiplication and division. They will be using different materials to support their learning. This week they learned how to group sets and use the numicon to help them visualise and work out the answers.
In PE the class will be participating in yoga and multiskills activities this session. On Wednesday they had lots of great ideas for finding different ways for travelling around the gym. We would be grateful if you could check that your child has full PE kit with them on a Monday and Wednesday so they can participate fully and safely.
