I can't believe that's another school week over! Primary 7 have settled in very well, adjusting to the classroom environment and structure of our weekly timetable.
In Writing this week we focused on imagination and developing vocabulary skills. We looked at synonyms in Grammar and the children were able to use some fantastic vocabulary!
In Numeracy we have started looking at place value. P7 have been working on reading and writing large numbers, with some able to read numbers into the trillions! We also looked at partitioning numbers, including decimals.
In Art this week, we finished off our personal shields and created birthday cards - some very creative children in P7! These will be used to give out whenever there is a birthday in the class.
