This week we have turned our attention to BONES! In our STEAM and HWB lessons we have been looking at different parts of the body and their functions. As we continue our class novel 'Kay's Anatomy' by Adam Kay. Bursting full of facts and humour this book is a real highlight of each day.

We have now completed our talking and listening presentations on John Muir. This is a valuable part of the John Muir Award and we enjoyed looking at the posters, presentations, pictures etc. on display. The creativity shown and confidence as each pupil presented was expectational and I was super proud of each one of them! This week we also enjoyed having a problem solving session as part of our John Muir Award working together to solve some natural calculations.

On Wednesday, a few people from our class were involved in the hockey festival over at Pitreavie. This was a fabulous opportunity for the pupils to showcase their hockey skills and play against local schools/classes. Each pupil who represented the school was a credit to our school and Douglas our hockey coach hopes that the hockey skills and enthusiasm continue beyond the competition. A special well done to our Canmore Team A who won the competition! What a super achievement.

One week to go! Looking forward to squeezing in lots of learning before our Easter break!
