This week we have been learning how to edit and assess our writing. We have been looking at the language of feedback, what feedback is and why it is important. We have increased our understanding of how to use success criteria in making our peer assessment kind, specific and helpful. Check Seesaw to see our progress.
In numeracy, we have continued to look at the properties of 2d and 3d shape. We have enjoyed some more active maths lessons reviewing and expanding our knowledge of shape. It is also important that we know how to spell our mathematical vocabulary. We will look at this next week as our spelling focus.
In preparation for our RME trip next week we have been looking more into special places. Specifically learning more about the believes of Islam and Christianity. We have looked at the different places of worship in these religions and some of the artefacts and objects we might come across on our trip next week.
This week we also enjoyed another hockey session with Douglas. Our two Canmore teams have now been chosen and we look forward to a final session of preparation next week before the festival.
